The short version

Some links on Degrees of Sleep are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, I may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. It’s one of the ways this site stays free to run.

I’ve personally owned two of the systems featured here. For the others, I’ve done extensive research into real user experiences, specs, and brand reputation to give you the most accurate picture I can. I’ll always tell you what I don’t know firsthand. My opinions are my own and are never influenced by affiliate relationships.

How affiliate links work

When you click an affiliate link on this site and complete a purchase, the retailer or brand pays me a small percentage of the sale as a referral fee. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use my link or go directly to the site — sometimes affiliate links even unlock a discount.

I use affiliate links for the bed cooling systems reviewed on this site, as well as budget alternatives like cooling blankets, pillows, and mattress toppers. These are clearly marked with “Buy Now” buttons throughout the site.

Some links on this site — particularly in the Budget Picks section — point to Amazon. I participate in the Amazon Associates program, which means I earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through those links.

In addition to Amazon, I may participate in affiliate programs run directly by the brands featured on this site, which may include Eight Sleep, ChiliSleep, BedJet, Orion, Good Sleep, and others. These relationships do not influence which products I recommend or how I rate them.

I have personally owned and used a ChiliSleep Ooler and an Eight Sleep Pod. My recommendations are based on real experience, not on who has the most generous commission structure.
